Electronic specifications
- Macintosh format; Quark Xpress (v. 6.5), Adobe Photoshop CS (v. 11) or Pagemaker (v. 6.5 or higher)
- TIFF/IT P1-CT, PDF or PDF/X-1 (with fonts embedded)
- Disks accepted: CDs, DVDs or Zip disks (we cannot accept floppy disks)
- Please include all images, fonts (printer & screen), and a contract-color proof of the advertisement
- Ads created in other programs should be saved as EPS or PDF files with a minimum resolution of 300 dots per inch. (Please embed fonts.)
Proofs
Proofs are essential for quality control and proper output of your ad. All advertisements MUST be accompanied by hard copy proofs.
- Proofs must be 100%, tiled if necessary
- Please supply a contract-color proof for all process color ads
- Hard copy proofs must match the electronic file exactly
Sending Advertising Materials
- You may upload digital ad materials (please compress files) to our FTP site
- When submitting materials via the FTP site, please include all images, fonts (printer & screen) and mail contract color proofs
- When submitting materials via the FTP site, please fax a hard copy of your material(s) to 763.478.8396 for identification purposes
